Free Sample Chapter of Make Easy Money with Google (a real paper book)

I need a hard cover book category, since this isn't an e-book, but a real book (nice concept - and BTW,the Amazon link isn't an affiliate link).  Eric Giguere, author of Make Easy Money with Google, posted a free sample chapter on DP forums.  I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I will as soon once I get some pages with AdSense that need attention done this week.  It's so easy to get distracted...

Creativ's Make $5.00/day in 6 weeks or less Tutorial

Reading through an AdSense goal setting thread on DP Forums, I followed this link from Creativ to their tutorial on how to create a site from scratch and make $5 a day in Adsense in 6 weeks.

It's laid out plainly in steps, and he claims to normally charge 25% in earnings for teaching people this technique one on one. Ideally, you know something about blogs, templates, page generation (there is a correct way to do this), pinging and RSS. A little background creating scripts and databases doesn't hurt, but not necessary.

The thread took a turn to the black hat/white hat debate and whether Creativ is promoting spamming/his own agenda, but I felt more surprised that someone is openly willing to share their _some_ of their secrets.  We never share all of our secrets though.....

Create Rotating Adsense Ad Colors Easily

In case you missed it, Google's AdSense Optimization page has a section about rotating colors in your AdSense Ads easily.

...rotating color palettes is a simple way to add variety and freshness to your ads. All you need to do is hold down the Control key and select up to four color palettes when generating your ad code in the Ad layout code page of your account.

This technique can be great for sites with return visitors, so they notice the ads and reduce user "ad blindness." As with any changes, do as test to see if you need all 4 color rotation options,and what color combinations work best.
